What Premium Dining
Should Actually Deliver

Premium is the most overused word in restaurant marketing, which is a shame, because it has a precise meaning. Something is premium when it has been selected and arranged for you by someone who knows more about it than you do. A premium restaurant is not one with expensive things on the menu. It is one where somebody has already decided which of those things belong together.

At Nouba that is the curated multi-course menu, which starts at Rs 2,000 per person. You are not handed a card and left to build a meal. The progression is planned across the three kitchens: a North Indian section, a Pan-Asian line with a sushi and dim sum counter, and a Neapolitan wood-fired oven. The order things arrive in is deliberate, and so is the pacing.

The a la carte menu is still there and still opens at Rs 800 per person before taxes. Many guests eat that way and are perfectly happy. The premium experience is for the evenings where you would rather not make twelve decisions, and would rather the restaurant made them well.

The room is the second half of it. Nouba occupies the 4th floor, open to the sky, with poolside seating and a view across C-Scheme. Elle India featured the electric blue design, and Conde Nast Traveller has covered the space. For premium bookings the floor can be closed entirely from Rs 20,000, which gives you a dedicated service team and a menu built specifically around your guests.

What premium should not mean is friction. Every reservation at Nouba is confirmed by an actual person on WhatsApp, usually within minutes, and the team will tell you honestly if a date is tight rather than take the booking and hope. If you want the curated menu, say so when you book so the kitchen can plan sourcing.
